Services

Recognition counseling:

  • Advice on recognition possibilities for foreign qualifications, information on career paths
  • Information about responsible recognition authorities, procedure processes, necessary documents, and costs of the procedure
  • Support in reading and interpreting the notices after the recognition procedure.

Important: IBAS is not a recognition authority. We are a counseling center and do not issue recognitions!

Qualification counseling:

Additionally, since 2015, IBAS provides detailed advice on (adaptation) qualification opportunities after a recognition procedure. IBAS

  • helps in finding a suitable qualification or compensation measure
  • provides intensive support before and during an adaptation qualification until recognition is achieved
  • shows opportunities to improve language skills
  • assists in finding financing options.

Advice for those seeking counsel for optimal consultation

Do you have questions about your foreign degree? Don’t you know what you can work with your degree? Do you need information about your recognition notice? Do you have another question in this area? We are happy to advise you!

For good counseling at IBAS, we need some information from you. Please send this information by email or mail to IBAS. We will then get back to you as soon as possible.

1. IBAS Check

Please fill out the IBAS Check as best you can. Your professional goal, i.e., the profession you want to work in, is very important.
You can download the form directly here in PDF format:

[PDF] IBAS-Check 2023

(alternatively: Download via the external website of the IQ Network Saxony here)

2. Curriculum Vitae (CV)

The CV is also important for the consultation, e.g., in tabular form. Then we can see what you have already done (work experience).

3. Degree / Certificate

Send the first two pages of your highest degree or degrees. If you have already studied at a university or learned a profession, we no longer need your school-leaving certificate.

4. Contact details

Please check that we can find your contact details (phone number, email) on the IBAS Check or your CV.

Please also read this general text on the recognition of foreign qualifications as an initial orientation.
