The Asylum Procedure Counseling helps people seeking protection by providing information and legal advice. Our support includes:
- Understanding the asylum procedure to make well-informed decisions.
- Confidential individual consultations before and during the asylum procedure, if needed, until the final conclusion of the procedure.
- Assistance in exercising rights and fulfilling obligations in the asylum procedure, and in presenting relevant reasons for flight in a structured manner during the hearing.
The counseling is independent of authorities, free of charge, individualized, and open-ended.
It is open to all protection seekers and applicants. Participation is voluntary. Legal advice within the meaning of the Legal Services Act can also be provided as part of the asylum procedure counseling.
The Saxon Refugee Council offers asylum procedure counseling for refugees in Dresden and Leipzig.
