The model project “Perspektive Bleiberecht Dresden” (Perspective Right to Stay Dresden) offers individualized, independent, and open-ended perspective counseling to refugees living in Dresden. The counseling service is aimed at persons with a tolerated stay status (Duldung) who may benefit from a right to stay regulation in the foreseeable future.
The goal of the model project is to support long-term tolerated residents in Dresden on their path to a secure residence status and to increase the approval rate of residence permits. To achieve this goal, active cooperation between the counseling center and the Dresden Immigration Office has been agreed upon.
The project is anchored in the Integration Action Plan 2022 to 2026 of the state capital Dresden and is financed by the regional skilled workers alliance until the end of 2026.
