According to information from Aktion Bleiberecht, another deportation to Afghanistan is scheduled for tomorrow, July 6. It would be the 40th collective deportation to the most insecure country in the world according to the Global Peace Index.

Meanwhile, fighting and attacks are on the rise in the country, directly related to the international troop withdrawal. Reports confirm that even once-secured areas, such as the greater Kabul area, are targets of attacks. There is a threat of a takeover by the Taliban, so deportations should be stopped completely in such a threatening situation.

We ask that all those who may be affected be informed. In order to prevent panic, supporters, lawyers and local asylum counseling centers should be contacted. General information about the behavior of deportations can be found here.
